Hatha Yoga: Our teachers offer a classical flow style of Hatha, emphasizing gentle movement, breath, and balance. Open to all levels and abilities this class will challenge experienced yogis to go deeper within, while being fully accessible to beginner practitioners. Combining fluid transitions with a slow deep form of Hatha, these classes allow for a balance of strength, meditation, and relaxation.
Yin Yoga: A slow, deep form of Hatha yoga that concentrates on slowly opening the less elastic tissues of the body for greater physical and mental balance through stillness. Yin allows the body to open naturally and go deeper into postures by holding each pose and moving deeper when the body allows. Deeply meditative, the stillness of Yin yoga is a natural compliment to the more 'yang' or strength building Hatha class.
For all yoga classes, please wear comfortable loose clothing. Please refrain from wearing powerful scents or revealing attire for the comfort of all people in class.
